Matt Dowd, Local Manager & Arborist Representative at Bartlett Tree Experts, works out of our Chattanooga, TN office.
An Alabama native, Matt was an outside kid from an early age. After earning his bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Alabama, he took a job at an Atlanta-based tree care company, where he took interest in arboriculture and began working toward his own accreditation. He and his family recently relocated to Chattanooga, leading Matt to join the Bartlett Tree Experts family.
Matt is an ISA Certified Arborist. As an Arborist Representative, he brings to the team a dedication to tree health and preservation through a scientific-based approach, providing education and functional solutions for the Scenic City and surrounding areas.
Outside of work, he spends most of his time with his wife and two children, takes advantage of the occasional opportunity to play golf, and loves to see a good movie in the theater.
